On January 18, 2016, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, Chirag Shah spoke on the panel titled "Minority Lawyer Thought Leadership and Economic Development". Mr. Shah discussed the new agenda for economic development in minority communities and the need for minority lawyers to provide thought leadership to minority business during this new global economy to prevent predatory litigation against South East Asian hotel owners and other minority businesses.
